Winter Trainig

My parents have put me on a training program for the winter.  They want me to run 2 miles a day, and try to do P90X with my dad.  I feel comfortable running on the treadmill, although it is sometimes hard, and I really don't want to do P90X with my dad. I am hoping that my neighbor Todd will take me out on a hike this winter.  He is a professional mountaineer, and he is going to also help me get to Everest.  I think that I am going to have to get snow shoes.   My dad told me that it will take us 60 days to Summit Everest.  I feel exhausted just thinking about it.  My plan for the spring and summer are to do a couple of peaks in Denver, and hopefully Mount Shasta too.  I will have to see how much time my dad and Todd can take off of work.  If you have any fundraising ideas please let me know. My mom said that the Team Zane t-shirts will be ready in the spring.  I want everyone to buy one.  I think that it will be awesome when I see everyone wear it.  Thanks for your support, and tell all your friends to follow my blog, the more the better.

  1. Zane, Hey keep up the awesome work. There is one thing that I have learned is that the hardest things in life are those that are usually worth the most. There has been many times that I decided to do something that seemed so immpossible, but I stuck to it no matter what and I felt so awesome after I finished. As always, your awesome, I am your biggest fan, Derek

  2. Zane, Of course I want to buy a t-shirt. I'm so excited you want to do some hikes in Denver. Maybe I can go with you. Here is what I will do for your fundraiser. I will give you $5 for every A you get on your next report card. So get good grades. Maybe people will give you money for every mile you run this winter. That might make it more fun. What do you think? I love you so very much. Love, Neina
